Yes. We collect only personal identifiable information such as host ID and serial number of device and drive to distinguish between drives and monitor the drive health status. Any other data stored on your NAS is out of bounds. ULINK DA Drive Analyzer is compliant with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What are the measures in place to ensure security of ULINK DA Drive Analyzer service?

  • No remote access is allowed.
  • Additional inbound ports need not be opened.
  • The data gathering API is certified to ensure authenticity.
  • Data gathered from the ULINK cloud is for display only and local commands cannot be triggered.
  • Only drive system data is used. User files and data are excluded.

Therefore, even if your drive’s S.M.A.R.T. status appears normal, it could still be exhibiting early indicators of a possible failure.

Can I share my ULINK DA Drive Analyzer license with another NAS or user?

No. ULINK DA Drive Analyzer license is not transferrable.
